Spiderbeam 18m fiberglass mast + clamp set + guy belt (2x) is perfect for building all kinds of antennas. Includes clamp set so the mast cannot slide in under the pressure of its own weight. Specially designed for the radio hobby. The Spiderbeam 18m fiberglass mast is strong and not top-heavy, with a much greater wall thickness (up to 2 mm!) than the usual “rod” types. A special strengthening technique is used. Several layers of fiberglass are cross-wrapped alternately; this provides greatly increased lateral and linear strength. Stronger connections are achieved by increasing the overlap between individual tube segments.

The poles can be used as a full-length “vertical,” for example, to place an “EndFed” Antenna vertically or as a “Groundplane” antenna. This Spiderbeam 18 meter fiberglass mast is perfect for 80/160 m GP or inverted L antennas. Making an “inverted-V” antenna is not a problem either. For dipole antennas, the Spiderbeam 18m fiberglass mast + clamp set + guying belt (2x) is also suitable. Because of the weight of the power line and any (heavy) BalUn, this can only be done up to a certain height. The mast should then be shortened depending on the antenna weight. By the way, all our fiberglass masts can be easily shortened with segments. (Just open and remove the bottom). This way, you can also use only the desired lengths.
