The Spiderbeam 7m fiberglass pole with eyelet is perfect for building all kinds of wire antennas. Its extremely short transport length of only 71 cm makes it easy to carry. The true connoisseurs know, for the radio hobby there is only one brand of fiberglass poles and that is Spiderbeam. Several layers of fiberglass are cross-wrapped alternately; this provides greatly increased lateral and linear strength. The pole can be used as a full-length “vertical,” for example, to place a “Groundplane” antenna vertically. Making an “inverted-V” or “Inverted-L” antenna is not a problem either. For dipole antennas, the Spiderbeam 7m fiberglass pole with eyelet is suitable, only placing a (heavy) BalUn goes only up to a certain height depending on the weight. By the way, all fiberglass poles can be easily shortened with segments. (Just open and remove the bottom). This way, you can also use only the desired lengths.

The 7m Spiderbeam fiberglass poles are perfect for building various temporary wire antennas (SOTA / IOTA) but also perfect for geocachers.
The pole is very convenient with the screw base, easy to lock like a fishing rod by “pull&turn” and thus are already ready for use.
However, they are not intended for permanent installations (for several days or longer) because temperature fluctuations and weather can loosen the segments.
